hmm i don't think you understood me
you have your W/Mo
you can lower your swordsmanship , you'll get your points back, and put them in axe marksmanship, so you can use the axe you just got...
then change to axe skll sets...and you're done
( this is an example )

Yop phreek, i played diabloII for like 2 years as well,my paladin was worh over 600 HR's ^_^
But basically you can take the atributes back and put them in axe skills instead of sword. When you were playing d2, you had to choose between fire//lightning//ice etc, but in gw u can get all those skills, and in town u can spend atributes to see in what part u specialise..
And for an axe warrior, some basic skills are:
Eviscerate{elite}
Axe rake
Executioner strike
First use eviscerate to do damage and inflict a deep wound, then use axe rake which inflicts criple(when axe rake hits a target with deep wound it gets cripled)
As for the other skills..
Rebirth/restore full life/resurect
healing signet
watch yourself
Frenzy..<-- only use this 1 if ur not targeted..

Hi,
In towns or outposts, you can reduce the points in an attribute and reassign them to something else. Sometimes, if I know what enemies I'll be facing, I switch attributes before leaving town. For example, against undeads I find sword skills less effective so I may reduce this and increase Smiting Prayers and take more Holy damage spells.
Also, before assiging attribute points take note of what your skills currently does. Increase the attribute and then see if it had any benefits. If none, then reassign it somewhere else. For example, I tend to use Healing Breeze. With 4 points in Healing Prayers, this give a health regen of +5. Increasing Healing Prayers to 5 will still give me +5 regen, so this has no immediate benefit and the points used to increase Healing Prayers to 5 maybe better spent on something else.
As for what attributes to assign your points and what skills to use, that would really depend upon how you play.
I'm taking a break from playing Mesmer and trying to get into playing a warrior.
My W/Mo current has points in Strength, Swordsmanship, Tactics and Healing Prayers. (I can't remember their level of points, but Strength and Swordsmanship are the highest).
The skillset that I've been using regularly:
Sever Artery - for some degen on those who can bleed.
Galrath Slash - good high damage. I prefer this over Final Thrust because GS uses less adrenaline and you don't lose all adrenaline.
Power Attack - for additional damage while adrenaline build up as it uses energy and pretty quick recharge time.
Distracting Blow - no damage but stops enemies from doing things. Very useful against casters/healers. For example, stops rangers from using Troll Unguent to heal the damage you've already done to them. I like causing disruption...it's the Mesmer in me.
"Watch Yourself!" - I found the +20 AL on myself and nearby party members very useful. With low adrenaline cost, I found I could spam this. With almost a continuous +20 AL, we could stand toe-to-toe with enemies for longer.
Healing Breeze - a nice healing spell that can be used on myself and other party members. Plus it seems to help counter health degen hexes.
Resurrect - Bring party members back to live as many times as I want to.
The last slot I tend to alternate between:
Smite Hex - It's good to be able to remove degen hexes, or any hexes that stops one from being an effective warrior. Plus you can remove hexes from party members.
or
Sprint - Nice to be able to quickly get to party members who are in trouble.

For PvE I do not recommend Frenzy as a warrior is almost always subject to attack and the double damage will be the death of you or at least earn you hatred from the monk for taking all their time and energy.
Eviscerate is elite so advising a level 19 at LA to equip it is kinda pointless. Just try out the axe skills that you have and look for combos like he pointed out to improve their effectiveness. Cyclone Axe is good in PvE as there are always groups to attack and you can even use it against a solo for the +damage.
For PvE don't be afraid to play with the enchantments and use the adrenaline skills and signets for your offense. This could include mending, watchful spirit, strength of honor, retribution, holy wrath, succor on 2 casters, or whatever. Just don't spread your attributes too thin. Teaming with henchies is a good opportunity to try out new things. If they don't work, restart and try something else.

If you want to be a real TANK, take Dolyak Signet, Armor of Earth and Watch Yourself. You'll notice that you get 0 dmg from most attacks
